I would charge and store that where you wouldn't mind having a fire.

what makes you think there is risk of a fire with these specific batteries? If they have an internal BMS, and use correct charger, how high is the risk of un-balanced overcharging? or, are you talking Li-ion versus LiFeSO4 chemistry ?

Aliexpress has never worked for me either. There always seems to be a problem with my password or whatever. However, some individuals have had excellent experience. Most of the time I've been able to locate something from a reputable company for almost the same price.

Try the ebike marketplace in Las Vegas. They either have it or can rebuild yours (I think).

Look at endless sphere reviews "What's wrong with UPP" or something similar.

Weelllll thats a bummer, unfortunately I'd ordered it earlier this week already after seeing their high reviews on ebay. I was hoping I could get some help regarding the power connecter to the battery base and the controller. Unfortunately mine don't match up and i'm not sure what I can do about it

Just watch it while charging and you should be OK (I'd charge it outside or in a safe place (fireplace, barbecue or ???).

Try Electro Bike World, they have supplied all of my battery needs and have the connectors you need:

I bought a PING lifepo4 battery which lasted and performed very well in spite of my careless ignorance. I only wish I had known then what I know now and I would have probably gotten much more from my pack.

Things I did wrong: charging the pack 100% after each ride; charging in freezing weather; 5A charging.

My pack was being discontinued when I checked with Ping for replacement. I had a new pack assembled locally by Chans battery (London Ontario). It is a Li ion pack. It performs perfectly well and I expect to keep it a long time thanks to my Luna Cycle charger. I charge at either 1A or 2A and limit my charge to 80%. The pack is fully charged every 2-3 months so as to allow the cells to balance. I never feel the need to charge at the full 5A

The Ping battery was excellent and gave me more than I deserved.

Bikes: Too many but never enough.

As headline figures, ZapBatt already reports, from its existing battery technology:
  • Software and hardware extends the cycle life of ZapBatt Lithium Titanate battery systems up to 15,000+ cycles, which equates to 25+ years
  • Charge time less that 20 minutes, as a result of ZapBatt battery AI, which tracks, analysis, and optimizes 26 different specifications to improve all aspects of battery performance.
