Hello, everyone~
I am looking to become a successful Online E-Bike Kit Dealer for Amped Bikes and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips about how to be successful in doing that in terms of getting traffic and making sales.
I am no expert but, I was thinking on my website I would post information about how to install various parts of bicycles and share my life experiences with cycling by posting pictures and videos on the blog section. I figured I would start a hauling service up there too and find clients via Craigslist. I have a blurry mission statement to encourage people to enjoy cycling. I figured that I need to find some accessories and attire to sell on my site.
Well, if anyone had any good suggestions&tips they could be so kind to share, I would greatly appreciate it.

First question that comes to mind is "What will you offer that is missing in the market?" Next "What do you like to do that someone is wiling to pay for the value added?" Third "What are your qualifications that would allow people to trust you?" Answer these questions for yourself and the business model will follow.

I am having difficulty deciding on a domain name. I was thinking of using Narley as a name like, www.narleybikes.com but, does that sound cheesy to you?
I was thinking of going with www.stylinbikes.com but, it looks like that domain name is already taken and is being sold for $200.00 so, maybe I could do a variation if I didn't want to pay that price like, www.stylincyclin.com.
Jethro56, thanks for the suggestion. I will consider that.
Design your own apparel:
If I wanted to make my very own apparel, how would I do that? All the way down to how the the fabric is woven.

I did stained glass and had a web site. (Now that I'm retired I'm thinking about starting it up again.) The web sites that got the most hits were the ones that had something to do with "stained glass" in their domain names. Your main thing I guess is doing electric motors for bikes? If someone is searching for electric bike motors what would "stylin bikes" have to do with that? In other words, no one is going to type in "stylin bikes" for a motor. The problem is coming up with a name that's not already taken.
BTW, I called it "Somewhere In Time stained glass," so I got a lot of hits from people looking for stuff about the book or movie.

AmpedBikes has about the best name in the business. They steer clear of cloning kits like some of the other guys and they usually come out with an incredible new product every 3-4 months. I am a certified Amped Dealer. I have a basic website showcasing their products. What you have to remember is they already have the best name in the game so I wouldn't try and re brand them as it will take you 6+ years to get your own brand name known.
They have nothing but positive reviews spread all over the net. This is what I do. I have a basic website I advertise through Google adwords I set it to about $10 a day as they suggested. I was getting about 3-4 orders a week which allowed me to quit my job. I also build 2-3 bikes a week and I am always riding mine around town, I constantly get stopped.I hand out cards, tell the people I have some pre-built at home. The pre built bikes alone bring me in an extra $1,000- $1200 a week
