2013 New Off Road Electric Bike 48V 1000W Foldable Frame + 48V 20Ah Lockable Li-ion
Hey all,
I only recently got interested in ebikes, but because I am very busy during the week, I don't really see myself building one...
I found this nice model (on paper) and was wondering if it is any good.
Is there anyone out here that has some experience with this company/bike?

very impressive specs. the description looks really good my main concern would be with how well the company follows up on repairs and that sort of customer service as they seem rather unknown? I am definitely interested, the price isn't bad and I am looking for an ebike with these specs

I digged a little and found a buyer on eBay who was willing to share his experience.
Here is his quoted response.
Hi Sis,
I have some very mixed feedback about this bike. I has some
really quality components but also some serious flaws.
1) tyres are
completely unacceptable they will need to be replaced. i had 3 punctures in
a week the bike is just too heavy for the mountain bike tyres it comes
with.
2)The battery is exactly what i expected - it is already beyond
its best. this is not a surprise. HOWEVER it still works with about 60-80%
of the power it had at first. I think it has stabilised and it will
continue power the bike for ages without getting much worse, but after the
first 3 or 4 discharges it really doesn't like *full* throttle. This is a
problem with LiPo batteries in general and only a bit worse than what i
would expect from a good quality one.
3) Motor is great. no
problems.
4)gears are great and good quality.
5)brakes are great,
high quality. they don't stop as hard as would be nice but an expert has
assured me that is a leverage issue in all electric bikes due to the need
for a motor cutoff switch in the handles.
I would say that I don't
regret the purchase. it has been a pain in the ass, but even with tyres etc
it is still at least $1000 cheaper than a comparable bike bought
here.

It looks like an interesting model. I am a little weary of the price as it seems too good. I would love to hear from anyone that actually owns it. I can tell you that it will not have alot of torque for off roading with a direct drive hub. It will also balance very badly with the motor controler and pack and siting over the rear wheel.

The Conhis motors are moderately roughly finished. I bought one from them, and had to take it apart to remove some debris rattling around inside. It runs well now though, but the quality of finish might be indicative of the probability of future problems. We will see. The motors are very inexpensive though.

This bike sparked my interest inebikes. Someone goes through my neighborhood on one and I was alwayswondering which kit he used. He's usually flying up a hill as I godown on my pedal bike. So, never have had a chance to talk to himabout it. Wouldn't this be illegal anyway? I really don't know muchabout the subject but many people have posted that there's a maxspeed capability limit.

Here it is again but 36 volts 250 watts & not sold by Con-His, better pictures, the crank will not last long, those forks are pogo stick specials, winzip disc brakes, the battery is now 10 AH, $ 1200.00.
I bet it would break in a week if i rode it { & i'm 51 **, I would pass it's a bell's & Whistles special, it folds ! It slices, it dices it even tell time
EDIT- I noticed Con-His offers this bike on their website for $ 600.00, the link to the Ebay auction wants 1200 free shipping { that old trick ** . So the 48 volt 20 AH bike is going to be @ least $ 1600 shipped, I would take a Prodeco over that or better yet spend 400 more for a nice bike & get no headaches & enjoy
