I have the Cateye Strada Slim on a bicycle with a carbon fork. I would like to use the computer with a second bicycle, a classic steel Pinarello but if I get the Strada Slim 2nd mount kit, the Strada Slim sensor will dwarf the depth dimensions of the tapered Columbus fork. Would I be better off using the older model Strada 2nd mount kit with the sensor that runs forward of the fork. I understand that the mounts work with either Strada or Strada Slim computer unit.
