Dynamo wiring??

So I recently added a Nitto front rack to my 1984 Miyata 610. This has become my favorite bike. I have been considering building a new wheel with a dynamo hub.
So how do you run the wiring so it is pleasing and not messy?
Thanks!

I haven't bothered to snake my wiring through the fork and frame so my wiring is messy with classic zipties.

In any case, if you're using modern LED lighting with a dyno hub, it is important not to use the frame as ground and run a single wire as we did back-in-the-day when lights were filament and ran on AC power. I won't go into all the messy details, if you use the frame as ground combined with a single wire conductor, your LED lights will act funky and won't light up correctly. Run a double wire from the hub to your LED lights, not a single wire.

I use Gorilla clear repair tape. Much more pleasing than zipties. I wear latex gloves while applying it, otherwise there are too many smudges. Can't see the smudges that badly though

Bikes: 8

Tape, 3M electrical, and Zip ties .. WB Bicycle Gallery: Robert Clark's Koga Miyata WTR

tail light follows the gear cable , downtube, Front derailleur to bb, then along chainstay,
then up rack strut.. to rack Mounted tail light

Or glued inside rear mudguard.. (the Koga WTR has grommets to use the foil layer in the SKS Mudguards as a conductor )

My Dynamo hub has twin lead , as they are Alternators , 80s The Old higher drag Bottle dynamos , used Frame ground,

But they were Bulbs [2.4w+0.6w] not LEDs then..
