One of the cool things I like about map my ride is the tons of maps on line. Now I have a couple of local rides saved, and I would love to share them along with the maps that are already there.

I don't seem to see the option to do that. I have only started using this app, so I may switch to one of the others if I see reason to

We have a small group that goes on rides once a week. Not knowing any better, I was thinking I could go out and pre ride what we planed to do. Then each person in the group could upload the map. Thanks in advance!

On the workout details you can click towards the right middle and there is drop down that will allow you to share with friends, or keep private. If others have account they can then see it.

I'm not sure how popular the app is. More will likely have Strava so you can also create a route in Strava from MapMyRide and your friends can use that.
