bePRO/Assioma Power Meter battery question
Folks,
I'm interested in the new Assioma PM, and wanted to ask people with the previous bePRO pedals if they have had or seen any problems with the built-in batteries. I suspect that the batteries should last for a good number of years, but there really isn't any room for problems when they are glued into the housing.
Second, the manual for the Assioma indicates that they should be charged every 3 months if not in-use, so this means a person who doesn't ride all year round will need to be monitoring the pedals while the bike is away in storage or wherever. That seems to be an unfortunate requirement compared to the other pedals, where you could just pull the batteries (or just replace the button cells) when it's time to go riding after a period in storage.
Anyone have any thoughts or experience to share?
Thanks,
---Michael
