ANT+ question

My Wahoo Elemnt Bolt comes today, and I was wondering if my sensors will connect with the Bolt and my computer simultaneously when I'm on the trainer. Bluetooth is fussy that way, but is ANT+ also limited to one connection? Or will the Bolt also connect with my computer, I don't recall seeing that as an option in either Zwift or Sufferfest.

Multiple head units can use one ANT+ sensor (I do it regularly).

BT is intended for bidirectional communication (that's why BT can't broadcast to multiple head units).

Yes! The Bolt will connect to all your Ant+ sensors with no problem. If your sensors are already connected to your computer, they will continue to work while connected to the Bolt.

Cool. I haven't had a chance yet to ride with it, but it is mounted on my road bike ready to go. And I just figured out that I can mount it on my commuter too with the zip tie mount. Now all I need to do is swap the speed sensor mount to the other bike. Or maybe I'll just buy a second one.

Unfortunately, it is getting cold here in NYC just when I'm really getting into shape.

Cool. I've installed it on both my road bike and commuter. Nice that they supply two mounts. I think I'll buy another speed sensor as it will be a PITA to switch between wheels every time I switch bikes. I'll keep the cadence on my shoes and that is easy enough. I'm going all in on this stuff lately. Next will either be a power meter of some type, but they are expensive, or a smart trainer, also expensive but seems like a longer term purchase. I guess a power meter is used both indoors and out, but the smart trainer is only indoors. I don't think you need both. Right now I have a Cycleops Fluid II that I use in virtual power mode in Zwift and Sufferfest by pairing with the speed and cadence sensor. Still having some things to work out with that, but it is much better than just the trainer by itself. Being able to match the power output is a new way to ride, rather than a subjective 9 of 10. I was always riding harder than suggested output and flaming out. I'd never last an entire ride or race.

Why wasn't any of this stuff available when I was young enough to appreciate it? Sufferlandria will be my new home. Do they have a senior center there?
