Cateye Stealth with Duotrap?
I'm finding absolutely nothing in my searches both here and elsewhere so I thought I'd take a shot.
I'm trying to install a cateye stealth evo+ on my Emonda with Duotrap. I've been able to pair the duotrap with my garmin, so I know it's working and "visible" as a sensor for both speed and cadence, but when the Cateye searches for it, it's not able to see it.
I've pulled the battery from the duotrap (multiple times now), and each time its visible to the garmin. Each time, even after resets, the cateye doesn't see it. Thoughts? At this point I think the stealth is heading back to amazon, but I figured I'd make a quick post before packing it up. (and yes, I realize the answer is simply "go with a Garmin instead", but the Cateye should in theory work for what I want and it's way cheaper)

Is the Duotrap ANT+ or Bluetooth?
Have you tried putting in the ID of the sensor manually?
Can the Cateye detect any other type of ANT+ sensors?
See first if it can detect a Cateye sensor, just to rule out if it is defective or not. If it can detect another Cateye sensor it can detect any ANT+ sensor. Mine can detect Topeak and Wahoo sensors.
Also, make sure there are no other ANT+ devices transmitting nearby.
If it is defective, don't return it to the vendor, contact Cateye USA in CO and they will send you a new one if you send in the defective unit.

I actually just got off the phone with Cateye support (they do exist!), and they clued me in on what the issue likely is. The duotrap needs to be paired to the ISC profile, instead of the SP or CD profiles. I'll have to try that when I get back home today, but it sounds like this pops up a lot with duotrap so I'm pretty confident that it should fix the issue.
