Music and Android??

First off I'm really "tech challenged"!! So now that that is out of the way!!!
I want to download music on to my Android phone and listen to it offline. So what do I need in the way of an app?
Thanks for your help and patience!!

If you're an Amazon Prime member, they have an app.

Your phone probably already has an app, most phones come preloaded with the common stuff.

Find a 13yo kid and have them set it for you. It's easy and they know all about it.

Android comes with Google's music player usually. I typically download VLC

To put the music there you can just plug in your computer and create a folder called Music and copy files to it.

Seattle, thanks for your post! We went to my nephew's last night and got a tutorial!! He also reccrecom VLC which are now on our phones. One of the problems he found was on my laptop in WMP even though the album was showing he could not find the file. I think we are ginfina on the right path!!
