Polar is awful

I just bought an an H9 chest strap heart rate monitor. I had a question so I went to their site. I went to the contact page, but I ran into a dead end. Even though the device isn't a watch, that's where I kept ending up. The final frustration was at the "contact customer care" screen. It stops at a few watch questions.

And then there is the Polar Flow app. It requires a 15-character password! Are you kidding me? My bank accounts are half that! And what personal information there in a fitness app?

I am sending it back.

If your bank password is only 8 characters long, it can be brute force hacked in under a day.

Yes, but I would be spared the life-wrecking reality of having someone know how many miles I rode my bike last week and at what average speed if I signed up with Polar and memorized a 15-character password!

I bought the same strap as you and I didn’t know what was going on with the battery so I wrote to them and didn’t get any reply. Yes they have no support at all. When I’m ready for a new one I’ll go back to Garmin

Normally I get a big consulting fee for this, but I'll give you a password for free: MyPolarPassword

Just wait till you find out my bank password is only 4 numbers long, and those 4 numbers are my wife's birthday.

How long would that take? Under 8 seconds?

LOL wonder what question he is asking
I've used Polar for decades...one of the first 'wired' heart rate monitors in the late '80's or early '90's...it worked then and it does now. I use a H10 and also have a H9, they work flawlessly. I change the battery annually.
I've tried Garmin and Wahoo and they work but sometimes not so well.
My Garmin Edge sends me a warning when the battery in my H9/10 battery runs low.
