As I've said, time after time, I object greatly to your abusive offensive insulting manner.
Do you have the right to call me a prick ?
Do you have the right to make up snide belittling names, just because you don't like my opinion ?

Excuse me? I was quite civil with you until you started to discount any opinion that disagreed with yours as being invalid.

You called me a prick for no reason.
You've been rude, insulting, belittling to me and to other people.
And even if you honestly believe that you have the right to be uncivil if someone discounts your opinion - you do not.

wow do you guys want to take this to PM or something? This is ruining an otherwise very informative thread. Maybe you two should just ignore each other.

I think they are splendid, especially my Aurora, though I am very tempted with the new P7 cycle light on DX

It looks pretty good and if I hadn't just spent out, I'd order one now.

ok, enough of this pissing contest, I strongly suggest you knock off the
bickering and personal attacks, continuing to do so will result in infractions, banning , and
other unpleasant outcomes.

My mounts came in a few days ago, but I haven't installed them, as I've gotten used to using the same bike for the last couple of weeks. :O) I ordered extra mounts so I can have two on each bike; one in the front for my P7, and one in the back for my Ultrafire.

Or you are going to put 2 P7s on one bike ?

Swapping between 3 bikes; I got a $20 MTB and bought 2 mounts for it too! I have one P7 and one Ultrafire, and I move them to whatever I plan to ride next. Someday I might buy a second P7, just for the fun of running 2 at once on the same bike. For now, though, one is enough.

It's a pity that one of the MTBR reviews is by EL34 and is so obviously biased.
It would be nice to be able to take any review at face value, but seeing as EL34 fancies himself as a P7 housing manufacturer and retailer and also that he attacked the new P7 cycle light as soon as it was released with lots of groundless accusations (apparently it's made of plastic
) - it's clear that he is entirely biased and his review can't be trusted.
Very sad, as honest reviews are always worth reading.

Anyone can make a valid criticism. If you think his review is not valid please point out why you think so with some actual details instead of just dismissing the whole review because you don't like the reviewer. He made a very detailed review, with lots of photos, and clearly backed up his impressions of the light.

However, if you want to criticise my observation please do so by PM.
Here's some good advice, I'm taking it - why don't you ?

Great review by troutie-mtb.
Concise, well written, informative. Presents the good and the bad fairly.
Very nicely said, troutie-mtb !!
Seems very unbiased and honest, just what us fence sitters have been waiting for.
Cheers

How do yo have knowledge that somone else order has been shipped out UC?? It is starting to feel like you are more than just a user and buyer from DX..
You pan the review of a DX item, it seems to be one of the more detailed reviews and he even had beamshots..

You have no right to tell me where to post on this forum as it's not yours. Once again I'll ask why do you think the review is bad? Just calling it so with nothing to back it up is dirty pool.

In any case, anyone can see when I joined this forum, the questions I asked and when I placed my first DX order. Following on from that it's clear that went from a Q5 to a P7 and started making lights to run from a dynohub. If you really think I am in China or HK and work for DX you could check the times of my posts ? Or you could ask the guy in Dorset I sent some lights to ?
What are you accusing me of actually ? Can you clarify ?
The reason why I know someone else's order has been shipped is actually very simple - he told me.
One of the guys on here is fortunate enough to live near me, how lucky can you get ?

So for a light from DX that you haven't ever seen you'll give a positive review a thumbs up but immediately discount a very detailed critical review as being rubbish, offering no basis whatsoever as to why it's rubbish. Considering or posting history Vis-à-vis DX I'd say that you are the one showing bias.
Try following this advice:
