Sony LiveView auxiliary smartphone display
Do you want to use the GPS on your smartphone during bike rides, but don't want to drain the battery by keeping the phone display on all the time? Check out the new Sony SmartView gadget:

The battery reportedly lasts 4 days. Only works with Android smartphones right now, but I would not be surprised if Apple copies it sometime in the future.

Bikes: One brand-less build-up, and a Connondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra Disc. A nicer bike than I need, but it was a good deal, so... ;-)
On my phone anyway, a significant part of the battery drain is running the GPC receiver, which this woudn't help with. Still cool, though.
