New Cycle Computer Help
Hi,
I’m looking to replace my (4) year old cycle computer (wired) with a wireless unit. All I need it for is to measure the mileage, nothing else is really necessary for me. This new unit needs to be “EASY” to set up and use!!! I have seen some of these computers that are incredibly confusing to me!!! So, simplicity is a must. My budget is less then $50 (approx). Any suggestions for which unit I should be looking at?
Thank you,
Tom

I like my Specialized wireless computer. It has built-in settings for common wheel sizes so you aren't required to measure your wheel circumference for calibration, although you can still do that for increased accuracy.

I definitely like wireless. I have Cateye Strada wireless. It has a LOT more than just miles. About $35 if you shop around. You can probably find wired with very basic info for a lot less. Check out Amazon. There's a Schwinn that's under $20, wired, basic info with good reviews.
