Combining my background in warehousing and logistics with DX customer reviews, I'm going to hazard a guess that the items that you are waiting on have been on back order and may very well have been discontinued. DX should've at least offered up a recommendation for a reasonable substitute or offered to give you credit or a refund by now.

It appears my order arrived. Unfortunately, it gets shipped requiring a signature, so they won't leave it on the porch. I got a ticket in my mailbox that I have a parcel from Hong Kong to pick up. I'll have to have my wife go to the post office on Monday to get it for me. By the time I get home from work, they would be closed. What a hassle for a minor value in mechandise. Everything I've ever ordered that comes from overseas always needs a signature.
Ordered 3/27
Received 4/22
I guess I'll look for items from US sources first, but I may order from them again if I'm not in a rush and I just can't find the item elsewhere.

I did find a page the other day for overseas warehouses in US, Europe and Australia. Took me 10 minutes of searching to find it again. Here it is. They stock a more limited amount of items, but those pare probably the more popular ones. Bookmarking it this time.

If you think ordering is an adventure, try returning something for a replacement. As they say, "Everything will be alright in the end, if things are not alright, then it must not be the end."

I like the flashlight from my 01-05 order that I ordered a 2nd one.
It arrived in about 6 weeks. Worked good sitting at my desk.
Dang, I dropped it on some very soft carpet while sitting at my computer.
Mode switch would not work after the soft drop.
DX is sending a replacement....When or how long Who knows?

I'm a bit leery of their flashlights. Bright light for cheap, but I've had cheap flashlights before and the internal contacts were junk, so they never worked very long. I may try one out of morbid curiosity, though.

Here's a tip that might help with those cheap flashlights. Or might be a freak instance and not help - my sample set is one flashlight. Anyway ...
My inexpensive Ultrafire had begun changing modes when I hit a bump, or turning off. That had been going on for a couple of months, and I went to change batteries at the house and it just died. Clicking, shaking, banging, fresh batteries, just no light. I started to dispose of it, since after all $16 ... but I got some stuff out to check it, messed with etc .... and nothing was wrong with any part of it, including the switch. But no light. So I just sanded down the thread where the back screws on, both parts, and it suddenly had at least a full turn more to tighten down, maybe two. It works perfectly now. I know, it feels stupid but give it a try.

However, I did order 2 Trustfire 26650 cells from DX on 4/1/12. They arrived yesterday, but the WRONG CELLS!! They sent me 2 Trustfire 18650 cells with only sell for $9.86, whereas, I paid $22.80 which is the cost of two Trustfire 26650 cells.
I am pissed. They took three weeks to send me a mistake.

I got one dead 18650 in a set of two once, emailed them a photo of a voltmeter reading 0.00 volts connected to the cell. They shipped me another two new cells and told me to just keep the other one.

To keep shipping costs down, they pack everything into a shipping-container. However the container won't ship until it's full. So it's the luck of the draw whether your package is the 1st one going into the container and have to wait 2-3 months. Or if it's the last one in and is sent the next day.
For the minor price differences, there are numerous other HK vendors who charge just a little more for shipping, but guarantees you'll get it within a week. Many of them on ebay and I've had very good luck with picking stuff up for next to nothing and getting it in a couple of days.
