Serfas Thunderbolt Tail Light?

Anybody tried or seen anyone using the new Serfas Thunderbolt Tail Light? Just picked one up but not 100% sold on it as compared to the Cygolite Hotshot or Light & Motion Vis 180 micro.

Take it back and get a Cygolite Hotshot.

Much longer run times.

Yes, I noticed the huge difference in run times. Shouldn't be an issue for me as I only do about 1-2 hours of night riding in a given week. But it'd be nice to have the extra time if needed.

My only issue with the Hotshot is that I need a light on my seat stay as my saddle bag blocks my seat post and the bag doesn't have a light loop. Hope to remedy that with a new bag soon, but until then want something to go on the stay. And from what I've read, I don't think the Hotshot can go on the stay without some sort of modification. Am I correct about that?

I have mine on the seat post.

The Serfas may be brighter with the shorter run time.

AFAIK, the Hotshot comes only with a seat post mount and there is an optional rack mount at additional expense. You can always use the seat post mount on the seat stay by shimming it up using electrical tape and old inner tube. I put a seat post mount on a rear rack leg doing that.

Anybody have any experience with the Light & Motion Vis 180 Micro?
