I'm looking for a wireless computer that's simple to use, preferably has multiple lines of info per screen, preferably with an accurate average speed (pauses at lights, etc), must be relatively water-resistant and must be fairly inexpensive. I'm looking in the $50 range, though I'll go a bit over if it's worth it. Just bought a new bike, so I don't have hundreds of dollars to dish out on this thing. I'm currently using a cheap Supercycle wired one that I haven't figured out how to reset my trip odometer (I've had it for 18 months...). I need this thing to make sense to the average user.
Any help is great.
NOTE: The local bike shop has been encouraging me to get a Specialized Speedzone Sport Wireless for around $50. Any good??

Get a cheap wired one from Wally World. Wireless units are prone to interference from all sorts of things- overhead power lines, some high powered front lights- and requires a battery for the sensor as well as the display unit.

Well I use a Plantebike Protege 9.0 Wireless on my trail/light touring hybrid.. picked it up for $45 or so and it has worked flawlessly. No problems with interference.
But I have also used Planetbike Protege Wired units on my other bikes, and they work flawlessly too, for cheaper $$.

They work great. And they are easy to put on too.
