Does anyone know if the live tracking on MapMyRide works with the standard app or do you need to purchase the premium version? I'm looking for something my wife can use to track where I'm at on a ride. Thanks

Just discovered you do need to have the MVP membership to be able to utilize live tracking on MapMyRide, for anyone that is interested.

without doing any research yet, does Strava have something similar? Or is the additional membership needed with this also? Thanks

I have looked at Strava (haven't used the app) to see if it would provide a way to show a live tracking on a map but couldn't find any information. Does anyone know if one of these two apps is better (and which one may be easier) to provide a live tracking of where I am riding? I have an iPhone 5 and open to using other apps if there is something out there that's better and easier to use. I have used MMR for recording info on rides and it seems to work ok, just haven't subscribed yet to try out the live tracking feature.
