Okay............I am not new to Garmin Edge units. Have had several over the years and they have always lived up to my expectations. With the new 810 coming from a 705 what are the ups and any downs?

To be fair thats the place people go to ***** about their garmins. People who have no problems tend not to post a lot.

True znomit. I never thought of it that way. Hopefully the 810 will be like every unit I owned in the past and work relatively trouble free.

Not a totally accurate characterization, IMO. There are certainly some who are there to *****, but the majority post there to learn about or resolve issues with their Garmins.

Read the review by dcrainmaker. Google him to find his blog. He does great reviews.

Got the Edge delivered today. Set up the profiles and sync'd to my Galaxy 3 and will soon sync to my wife's I-Phone as well so she can see my rides live mainly for safety reasons due to the cagers on the road that have no respect for sharing the road.

Weather sync'd up properly too!

Going to take some getting use to for sure and have a heart rate strap on the way so when it comes in I will get it sync'd as well.

Need to do a ride around the n'hood to see how the live tracking works!

Got the Live Watch working too! Love this 810!
