Any Front Lights That Can Be Mounted On A Stem?

Is there a front bike light that can be mounted on a handlebar stem? Specifically, a quill stem?

I have a set of thumb shifters (to replace a set of stem shifters) that I'd like to mount on the top of a drop handlebar. What will complicate this is the question of where then to place a front light.

(All of the front lights that I've had and know of were handlebar mounted)

The problem is that I won't have enough room for a light, shifter AND my hand on whichever side of the handlebar the light will be mounted. As far as I know, I'll only be able to choose two of the three.

Anybody here know better?

You want "bike handlebar extensions for lights"

For example:

If all you need is something round , there are several things made to make that mount
a substitute for the Nut side of the QR. another that shares the Bolt holding on your V brakes

another that will use any place with a 5mm threaded insert. mid fork braze on?

up from the fork crown bolt, Etc. Etc..

Then you skipped over reading any of the many threads on Hub dynamo powered, wired in, lights .

Yeah, I just went out and tried it on my bike. While I was able to rotate the light 90 degrees on the mount, I wasn't thinking about the slope of the stem.

Gemini lights can be rotated on their mount so you can place them on the front (fork) tube of the frame.
The headlight mount mentioned above is also available from Action LED Lights. They only use 3/8" of handlebar next to the stem. There are versions that will let you mount 1, 2, or 3 lights or other devises.

Do you need lights "to see" or "to be seen". If the latter consider the Niteflux Whitezone 5 or 10. Super bright lights that can be attached to your head tube if necessary. The light will also work as a "to see" light but less effectively.

This light mounts as a semi-permanent part of the handlebars -
Sparse - Cool Hunting

A lot of the Busch and Mueller shaped-beam lights can mount to the top of of the front fork -

If you've got even a little space you could mount something like a Hope Vision One with the light under the bars. It comes with a strap so you can mount it to a helmet, so depending on the angle of your stem it might just work.
