Congrats on beating depression with cycling. Cycling seems to cure a lot of issues.
My usual joke: I thought I was suffering from depression once. Turned out, I was just surrounded by idiots.

This thread is very interesting. I wonder if any of you who suffer this way actually have a hereditary slow heartbeat? Did you fidget at school, couldn`t sit still without dozing off, you had to move around? I have this now. had it then; got into trouble for it!. Looking for mental and physical stimulation all the time, without which I`m tired. Lathargic, My system seems to want to shut down. A lie down in the afternoon now I`m retired seems to help, but not always. Whilst this may not qualify as depression, it`s not as barrel o` laughs either . . . . You don`t feel motivated even to do stuff you normally enjoy, rather, you have to force it which usually works ok.
But I always like to ride, like, now! Instant cure; head for the hills, here I go Joe!
Dammit, `s gonna pour down . . . .
