Sometimes your better off staying in bed

I like to ride to work a couple of times a week. Being it's only 3 miles I try to get out early to get 1 1/2 hrs in before work & after doing a few things in the a.m. it becomes 1hr. This morning at 4:50 the dogs barking wakes me up,I go down stand look out the windows nothing is there an I tell the dog to go back to his bed. I then go into the bathroom to get ready for my ride,it's so early I could get more then 90 minutes in,& then I knock over the liquid soap,it's amazing so fast that spreads all over the floor. I clean that up and hear the dog bark 1 more time,I walk out to see him urinating all over the wood floor.FYI it spreads quicker and farther then liquid soap. The ride becomes only 1 Hr in length and during the ride a woman backs out of her blind driveway and came within 2 feet of really ruining my day.All in all it was a wonderful way to start a day.

lol.

I leave a lot of my commuting clothes on a shelf in the utility room (no, I don't wash arm/leg warmers or jackets every day). Couplea weeks ago, our cat used my pile of clothes for a litterbox. Yea baby.

Sheesh. Just roll with the punches, I guess. We don't have a dog and the kitty passed away in January. So one less thing to worry about for now. Glad you didn't get hit by the lady. Now that's what I deal with daily here in the big bad city (NYC). Many drivers in an around NYC seem to have a slight case of SMIDGAF.

At least you didn't knock over a bottle of Pine-Sol.., and you should give your dog credit for having the good sense not to go on the carpet.
That driver will look next time. You may have saved another rider.

Once the dog delivered his "message" & I finished cleaning up I had a good laugh about it. I live on Long Island and I think at times that except for the volume of traffic thatit can almost at bad as NYC. I will definitely remember the difference between the the I have to out bark compared to the something is out there bark. It sure wasn't the dogs fault

They say it is good to start the day with problem solving exercises for mental acuity, plus varied physical activity to maintain range of motion, and also some endeavor to get the heart rate up. Looks like you got all the bases covered!

Cats and dogs are a breeze compared to parrots. Bo, our Amazon, chewed my pants and I didn't notice it until a coworker asked if I was shot by a multi-pellot shotgun. I was SHOCKED at what he did.

Bikes: A steel framed 26" off road tourer from a manufacturer who thinks they are cool. Giant Anthem. Trek 720 Multiroad pub bike. 10 kids bikes all under 20". Assorted waifs and unfinished projects.

Dog: "Stoopid hooman didn't let me out for a pee when I barked the first time, I'll try one more time, ooops"

I can tell what our cats want to do just from their meows, they even have one for "go turn on the tap in the bathroom sink so I can have a drink..."

The Simple Green cat enzyme cleaner works pretty well for less than 1/2 price of the other brand.
