It is possible to be allergic to some kinds of bees but have little to no reaction from others.
And it can indeed vary depending upon where you are stung.
Now ... stop getting stung by bees!!!

Please tell that your insects in WI. I drove up again today. Stopped the car because of construction. Some blooming bushes at the road side. A swarm of those beasts descended on my car. Thank God for electric windows. I closed them just in time.
It is Sunday. My wife and I sit in New Glarus minding our business and eat a nice home made sandwich with jelly and cereal. These beasts smell it or see it (who knows) and are all over us. Get on the Tandem and flee.

I find this thread for some reason amusing. Will, my conservative side says you should get thee to a doctor who will give you a prescription for a bee sting allergy kit, which will contain something for anaphylactic shock, which can easily kill you. ( the allergic reaction, not the kit). OTH, I avoid Doctors pretty much as you do, and I would probably do exactly the same as you are doing. I will add that the same reaction to bee stings happened to my Dad later in his life, and having the kit in the house was no big deal. Good luck in finding a Dr who will only want to deal with the presented issue. Dr's pretty much want to do a full exam when you go in as a new patient, so as to protect themselves from lawsuits.

Here I go, 66 years old, never had a physical, do not like seat belts, helmets, doctors, drugs, vitamins and practice unsafe things which we shall imagine but not write here.
