As a father of four sons, I know first hand, several times over, there is no greater feeling than that of being a proud father of an accomplished son. Congradulations! Well done!
That warm feeling you are feeling is going to melt all the snow in Colorado!

It was a wonderful event last evening. I was nearly in tears as Tim was introduced by the President of the Colorado Bar Foundation to the hundreds of folks in the room. He mentioned some things that Tim and Amy have accomplished, the challenges of the work they do and about their drive to accomplish great things for individuals with disabilities through appropriate enforcement of the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Then he presented the award to Tim – it is technically called the “Award of Merit” – only one is given each year, and in some years they have given none, as they felt there was no one deserving.
This was followed by an amazing speech by Tim – 10 minutes without a single “ah” or “hmm.”* Memorized but personal, relating over 10 year intervals how two different organizations that have received funds from the Colorado Bar Foundation have influenced Andy’s, our and his own life. Also, he was able to open the eyes of many folks in the room who had little real knowledge about the A.D.A. and how it is and is not operating. He gave kudos to Nora and me, and talked a bit about Andy.*
