I got out this morning for 22.2 mi @ 19.5 avg. First time out in just over a week, a pesky injury has restricted my outings and slowed my pace.

16.3 miles (avg 12 mph) on the trike from home. 6.2 miles thru traffic to and from the bike path but it's Sunday (lite traffic) and I left an hour earlier than usual.

The final chain routing / chain tube configuration works great. It accounts for about a 2.5 mph increase in less drag (and no longer tries to saw a hole through the plastic seat). This fun trike is now funner (yes, it's a word, I just made it up).

Yesterday we did 52.8 miles on the tandem. This morning we did only 27.0 out to Verrill Farm in Concord. It's strawberry season!

In my opinion the North end is prettier. I spotted some nice campgrounds. Will go back and do it end to end and back.......good excuse for a XC!

Did the usual 'Le Tour de You Know Where', this time on the Kona. . . .

No I didn't ride today it's raining and messing up my schedule.

I rode the Tour de l'Office this morning. I'll ride the course in reverse this afternoon. Perhaps I'll get wet, perhaps I won't.

That will be a good trick...

16.5 mile group ride this morning on the with the Kiwanis Coffee Riders. Mostly seniors, the youngest is 58, the oldest (group leader) is a very healthy 72. Moderate pace, beautiful warm day. Life is good.

Took the trike out around the neighborhood for 5.6 miles. Sheesh, these streets need repaving.

22 miles. Windy and hot. Felt like crap when ride was done. Felt like puking. All I ate today was a muffin and a bottle of water. I drove four hours while working then got on the bike. I have to watch my diet in this weather.

I tried but the freewheel wouldn't cooperate.

I would suggest eating just a muffin and bottle is not the best way to diet.

Very hot and humid 35 mile start for my six day ride set.

No ride today as the thunder started. No chances after getting caught in the thunderstorm last week.

Rode to and from work today. 22 miles. Had to be early for a 7am - traffic not so thick compared to my usual later rides in.

33 miles out and back on the ole MUP. Ugh.

25 mi. pre-work ride starting at 5:15 this morning, done at 6:31.

17.5 today. Sunny and no storms !

35 mile ride today. Not much different than yesterday's except it was much faster.

52 miles today. Perfect weather, low humidity, cool and only a 6mph wind.

I dislike transporting my bike to ride, but made an exception today 71 miles in the White Mountains, NH.
Life is good!

14.25 mile after dinner ride, out 'n back from home. Time: 53.10 Avg speed: 16.2 mph Calories burned: 1164 (Age 54, and 6'0", 208 lbs).

Great ride on my classic '85 Fuji Del Rey, now that I replaced the saddle and tweaked the seatpost and stem down a hair. I found that I could keep up with a guy on a real nice Cervelo with aero bars. He may have passed me at first, but he certainly didn't leave me in the dust. I shifted up to the 52T chainring, sped up a tad, and was able to gently keep pace about 25-30 feet behind him. All on a heavy steel framed (24 lbs), "old school" vintage Fuji 12 speed!

24 mile bike commute today. A bit hot (90) on the way home but just about perfect on the way in this morning.

A spirited 20 miles of rolling hills along the lake, out and back, in beautiful sunshine and 30C temperatures. I love summer (and cycling).
