Hurricane Bill

Anybody planning on being out in the elements? It's coming up the East coast this weekend and I might go for a joy ride or two or three on the cape.

There's an outside chance it will push west to about 70 deg W longitude...which is the Cape.

Break out the surf boards, duuuudes!

Actually, from the title I thought Congress was debating some lame brained hurricane legislation.

I love a good storm! Monday and Tuesday look clear but I'll bet the rail trail will be covered with debris, huh?

Now the question is ... how to enjoy Saturday/Sunday ...

We have reservations to stay in Sandwich Mon-Thur. I'd say right now riding might be dicey. Can't wait to see the water boiling through the canal.

We are expecting 12' waves here on Saturday. That might mean ocean overwash in the street.

None of the fishing boats went out today because the ocean is getting rough. The hurricane will stir the waves up, after Bill passes by, there will be some nice sets. The surfers can hardly wait.
