Oh yes, Louis, I sit here like Miss Haversham, in my dusty prom gown with my dried corsage, still waiting...waiting....

She Who Must Approve Transactions Of This Nature approved purchase of a celebratory birthday bike a couple of months early (discontinued model that might not have still been available in January). That has helped ease the pain.

It ain't no Trek, but I like it.........

No chance. And as I recall, she didn't have a sexy new Trek to ride around on the cobblestones either.

I don't know a thing about those bikes, they look some sort of odd flying contraption to me, however, I am sure it is just lovely to those that ride them. Lovely color. Moreover, I just love the wordy title you have bestowed upon your wife. It indicates the measure of respect she deserves, no doubt. (That, or the fear she has instilled, either way works.)

My 10th anniversary gift will be somewhat less tangible. The third and final college graduation will occur a few weeks prior to my 60th. Phew!!!!! I thought we'ld never make it!!

Now let's just not talk about the one who's enrolling in grad school six months prior to my 60th.

Oh yeah, that's one damn fine looking flying machine you've got there.

You're supposed to tell them they're on their own for grad school!
My youngest should graduate in my 61st year - he's on his own for grad school, unless we change our minds about that.
I'll beat him to the cap and gown by one semester - the cost of my bachelor degree program isn't a burden because my employer is paying.

63, and it's disturbing how the results indicate a steady dropoff as age increases. I'm sure that the number cycling does decrease as age takes its toll, but I wonder if those results are also heavily influenced by familiarity with computers. I worked with computers all my career, so was a geek before my time, but I know a lot of people my age who are surprisingly computer illiterate.

60 here. Hoping that I still have a few good, healthy years ahead of me....and that I'm able to dodge the cell phone callers and texters.

You are very welcome to set up YOUR next poll anyway you like. However, there are only 10 options available in the poll software, so you will have to reduce the age categories.

Since you're knowledgeable about the software, is there any way I can remove remove my account?

75 today (so now my poll entry is legal) Unfortunately my wife reminded me that I am actually working on my 76th year as of today which somehow really makes me feel old. Plan to treat myself to some extra time on the trainer.

Yeah, but I don't like the thought of it! 52 and (thankfully) getting older. I have a few more good rides left in me!

I'll be 54 in April. Got back into riding about 3 years ago after a 18 year layoff. I don't think of myself as 53 and get frustrated because it takes longer to get into shape and quick to get out of shape.

will be 53 later this year, but if i considered a complete shutdown and restart of the old ticker i am just coming up to 2 years old.
heart packed it in a couple years ago, but go figure i dropped dead right next to a cardiac surgeon in a public library.
so now just living every day like it will be my last, because one day two years ago it was.
