50+ jersey order info thread
ORDERS CLOSED
Back by popular demand!
Here we go again. It's jersey time. So many people posted they wanted in I thought,
I may be nuts, but I'm going to try it. And I've designed shorts/bibs too!
No socks though, the minimum is just too high.
NOTE: Last day to order, Saturday April 24
(unless we need more time to hit the minimum order size)
Before you ask, the jersey is the jersey. Even the smallest of changes requires a new set of proofs and a restart in the design process. It also requires different minimum orders. I can't change a thing. Really. And sorry.
Payments so far:
Jersey (same look for long sleeve, sleeveless, jacket and vest)
Really large image at https://www.flickr.com/photos/ccorlew...99780/sizes/o/
Here's me (on the left, with my wife the right) in my 50+ jacket on the Waves to Wine ride last weekend.
Here's another recent photo of us in jerseys
Shorts (also as bibs)

Please read all this first:
* Please oh please read and follow the order directions with care.
* I will update (edit) this post with a table of order info to confirm your order.
*Please check back a few days after you order and make sure it's right
For "big news" I'll add a new post in the thread that references this one.
* The jersey is the jersey, I can't make any changes, no matter how small, without starting the whole process over again with new minimum orders and everything.
* Check the sizing chart below. Don't even think about the race fit jersey unless you are almost a pro and rail thin. Just don't.
* This process takes longer than you think, waiting for orders, having them made, getting them shipped. Don't expect this to be like a real store. Like over 6 weeks after i order to get them to send out.
* Posting here is fine, but your actual order is the Paypay message (and money) I get.
* On the plus side, I've done this five times (or is it six?) and haven't run off with the cash yet. Your jersey will arrive someday.
* I'm a teacher and an artist and not a businessman. I'm doing this just because it's fun and neat to see these pop up all over.
* Orders close on April 24 Don't send money after that!
* Outside the USA? Message or email me and we'll work out postage. It will be more. I got killed on a couple of non-USA orders last time.
What you can get, and how much it costs:
Items are available in womens, mens or race cut

I bought one of these to test it and like it a lot when it's really hot.
The manufacture says the colors aren't as dark, but I can hardly tell the difference. It is slightly less opaque.
Summer shorts, (side material made with summer magic fiber) $79

50+ order (you must include this line as I'm doing this for another forum too)
Real Name
Street Address
City
state
Zip
Bike Forum name (don't forget this!)
Item ordered (vest, short sleeve jersey, long sleeve etc)
Cut (mens club, mens race, womens) See note above about race cut. The chart is old, they do make womens cuts in vests and jackets and shorts.

Sizing info:
Fine print:
This is a not-for-profit effort. One of my personal goals is to not end up being out of pocket in doing this.
Because of that, I have no room for error. I can't make refunds or changes to completed orders. I can't change sizes after I place the order.
This entire process will take a while. I've put a four week deadline for payment, and the company takes a about 6 weeks to make them.
Prices reflect paypal fees, postage from the company and postage to you, plus a bit for tape and labels and such.

Hey nervous folks.
If you were waiting until you were sure we had a minimum order, wait no longer. We hit the magic number.

It took awhile but I finally got my PayPal account unlocked and the money is on the way
Someone had hacked my account and it was locked....I only use it to send money to you I had a tough time reading the new language on the account - Chinese
I have not gained weight....the larger size is for a friend who loves the jersey!

Do the club cut jerseys run small? The only bike jersey I have is two to three sizes larger than what I normally wear as that's what fit me when I tried it on in the store. My shirts are normally a M (sometimes a L depending on the cut) but my bike jersey had to be a XXL. Naturally I'm concerned ordering a jersey without the benefit of trying it on, so I want to make sure it will fit. I don't want the jersey to be an ultra-tight fit: I don't have the body for that!
Any guidance before I place my order?

1. I think I'll all caught up on posting 4.19.2010. Please check.
2. Sizing is pretty good. I find the medium jerseys medium. Really. Bibs seem just a bit smallish for me. I have a med and a large. I can wear both. I wish I had something in the middle.
I hope a XXL weighs in here to help you.

UPDATE
I got to try on a pair of this years medium bibs and the medium fits like medium. I don't know if my two year old mediums were messed up, or if they changed their sizing. But I wear medium in most companies clothes, and now these mediums fit just right too. YMMV.

I rode 100 miles yesterday (Sunday) instead of updating the orders. I'll do it tonight (Monday,) late PDT.
I'll wait a day to let folks make sure I've got it all correct.

I will wait a day for corrections, then place the order and we can all began the waiting and wondering if I skipped out with all that 50+ cash.

Only one question?
Thank you so much for all your work. Only one question? When do you "think" the jerseys will ship? Thanks
