For your eyes only...
Looking at options for sunglasses. I were prescription eyeglasses, don't want to spend a ton of cash but need sun protection and reduce glare. Want some "style" but need to be functional. I know it's a long list of "wants".. what to I use?

Don't forget good wrap-around dust protection. Thanks to some skinny lenses I once picked up a tiny metal fragment in my eye on a windy ride and had to spend some quality time at the eye doctor. I figure good wrap-around glasses at almost any price are a lot cheaper than damaged eyes.

My optician was able to put my prescription in Tifosi frames for a very reasonable price. The trick is finding an optician willing to work with you and your budget. I second making sure that the glasses provide ample coverage and have impact resistant lenses. Good luck.................................

I'm fortunate that my main optical deficit is lack of close focus ability - I've been wearing bifocal safety glasses in tinted and untinted versions. My progressive addition glasses don't cut it for cycling.

Performance sells something called the Radial II with three different lenses (clear, amber and gray) and a prescription holder that snaps in . You have to take it (the RX holder) to your optomitrist and have your RX made and put into the little frame

Their site says out of stock, but I was in my local Performance store recently and they had a lot of them. Reasonable price, but that varies depending on how much your lenses cost.
use mine every time I ride and like them a lot.

I bought a pair of Dewalt wrap around tinted safety glasses with a magnification diopter molded into the lens. You can select
a bifocal length of 1.5, 2.0 or 2.5. Cost was less than $12.00 from SafetyglassesUSA.com. They do the trick for me.
