Need help...wanting to purchase cool weather jersey

https://www.boure.com/8614-09.html

This jersey is exactly what I was looking for...... Made In USA, long sleeve, 40-70F temp range, but alas I was a day late and a dollar short ordering and they're out of my size. Does anyone have a line on a similar Made In USA jersey? I've been searching for a bit and have come up dry.

Thanks.

Long sleeve jerseys are on sale on most websites now. Summer and warm weather cycling is starting now.
There are loads of made in the USA jerseys to be had.

rivbike.com didn't appear to have any jerseys in the apparel section.

This isn't what you're looking for, but I have a couple of poly-pro, long-sleeve shirts from L. L. Bean - silk weight and medium weight. (I got them from L. L. Bean because they have tall sizes and I'm tall.) They're very light and pack small, but very flexible. I can combine them with short sleeve jerseys, worn under or over the jersey, a windbreaker, vest, even a fleece vest if it's really cold. I have a long-sleeve jersey I bought from Nashbar that was cheap and it's moderately warmer than a normal jersey.

I know; I'm not much help.

Best Cold weather clothing I have is a Thermal base layer. In fact I have two base layers that I use. For summer use it is just like a string vest but wicks away moisture with any Summer long or short sleeve jersey. Without the "String Vest" Moisture does not wick away as quick and I can get cool and damp whenever I stop. The Thermal one though is brilliant. Keeps me warm and dry at any time of the year. Including the summer rides when the temp does not get above 60. (Which I had plenty of last year)

I prefer the lightweight long sleeve wool jerseys as they provide a wider range of regulation, imho. Jonesware is a good one and, made in the US if that's important to you.

I just bought a Timberland long sleeve 'Smartwool' jersey - not cycling specific, and I don't normally care about brands or labels, but I can tell it's going to be a favourite - comfy, cool when it's hot, warm when it's cold - and didn't offend anyone even after a week's wear hiking and biking in Yorkshire UK and Turkey, temps 0 C to 34 C (whereas synthetics broadcast whiffy pdq)

40 - 70F is a long temperature range, so it's hard to find something to cover that wide a range. I almost always layer up as I go, rather then hoping a single garment can do everything.

The inner layer is almost always a short sleeve Jersey, they will drive moisture through to more outer layers, keeping you dry, and that is the important thing. The outer layer, is a waterproof nylon windbreaker. I have a light weight fleece and a medium weight wool insulating layer, and have been known to use all 4 depending on the temperature.

MKane, I did note the Kuchariks https://circlecitybicycles.com/jerseys/kujersey.htm I have to keep the arms covered all the time, but I was liking a couple of those. I'm jealous I can't go for one.

BlueDawg, at first I said no way.......I'll look like the back of an Amish buggy.....but that one grew on me. It's definitely a possibility.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I appreciate them.

OK, not made in the USA, but I LOVE my Pearl Izumi Gavia jersey. I commute in it all the time and I'm amazed how well it, with a base layer, work in a wide range of temps.

They've changed it a bit this year and now it's a soft shell PRO or something. And the sizing went all euro.

Still, it's teh jersey I wear the most in my pre-dawn commute.

I looked for Made in USA and may have missed it, but couldn't find it. I may end up with the Traffic Master, or just wait for Boure to reintroduce the jersey next August, as they've replied to an email. Decisons, decisions. Thanks for the help, and here's all I've been able to find which are made here. Once in a while I have to go to Europe for something but I try to keep you guys working. Thanks everyone.

According to the Velowear website, almost all of their products are US made. I'm sure you could contact them for specific info on a particular item.

I have a long sleeve merino jersey from https://www.oregoncyclewear.com/woolcyclingjersey.html I absolutely love it. Australian wool, but the jerseys are made in Oregon.

My son has been trying to talk me into a wool jersey........I can see the advantages, until it gets a tad wet, then heavy. Perhaps I have to open the mind a bit and give it a try.

It's actually my preferred rain riding jersey. It gets a little bit heavier in a real down pour but the key is that it keeps you warm no matter how wet it gets.

My son said nearly the exact same thing. You may have made a bit more money fly out of my pocket, as I hate to not ride with the kid when the opportunity arises simply because it's raining. Thanks for the insight.
