The Weak Link 07-22-10 06:01 AM

Due to a very weird perturbation in the schedule I may be able to get a flat 50 miler in today. Time will tell.

It's that time of the year again where I bring the "gift of zucchini" to work and share with the minions.

Catching a cold, feel weak. No riding.

kennyc 07-22-10 04:44 PM

How does one get a schedule to weirdly perturbate? Is that a medical type of thing?

The Weak Link 07-22-10 06:36 PM

Yes, it is. It happens when you move your workday from Thursday to Wednesday and think you had been scheduled for a dumb coding seminar, but it didn't happen so you use it as an excuse to go riding.

Your average speed is higher than my PR for any ride.

Maybe, but his climbing is 21 feet/mile. I suspect your climbing is greater based on the description of your rides.

BTW, BITSA, nice month. I am trying to throw the Weak Link a bone so he can feel better about himself.:D

Hey Weak,

You need to remember that my 305 is on PEDs (auto pause at stops)! Also, the excitement of getting a new bike (RS) just makes you want to ride more and push it more.

Your right, I am in central Jersey and a lot of my riding is relatively flat, no really big hills.

The Weak Link 07-29-10 11:24 AM

It would be tough to duplicate the conditions locally. The only flat terrain is downtown, and then you have to wait on stop lights and such. I'd have to go north into Indiana to hit the wide open flat spaces.

Still, I don't think I could keep it that high for a long time.

Conquered all 8 Z5 intervals last night in 24 degrees!

I'm winning,

I got tiger blood!
