Actually, in a way, yes. Repairs to her wheels on her car, a Jeep Cherokee. Well, "our" car.

My wife and I were returning from a BBQ at her sister's, via bicycle on Saturday, 40 mph winds, heavier gust's, buckets of rain having to ride on tight 2 lane road with no shoulders, (I'm beginning to really dislike "dump truck" drivers!), checked today, the "shoes" are still "wet"!

Preparing for the summer concert season by listening to John Hiatt and Tom Petty. Will ride the bike between listens.

These are the times I love this state.

I had two CF Buenos Aires (one compact, one triple) and manage to break the frames on both of them. Really liked those bikes...really grew to hate Trek customer service.

I may be going to see Hiatt in a few weeks. Would be about the sixth or seventh time.

Our summer concert season will consist of one concert, Carole King and James Taylor. Our first concert in a long while.

Could be a side effect from doping. I don't think you are supposed to spray the Deep Woods Off down you throat.

Too much Viagra.

Off until Tuesday...should be able to get in some good mileage.

BITSA 07-01-10 08:35 AM

Got home late from work last night and only was able to get in a 20 mile ride. This morning after uploading to Garmin Connect, I find that I rode 299.65 miles for June.
If I knew that last night, I would have at least gotten an extra mile in. Oh well, still not bad considering one week was spent in Aurba.

Metric Man 07-01-10 09:52 AM

24 miles in and it's almost 90° already.

BengeBoy 07-01-10 10:37 AM

Rode to work in the rain today -- apparently 5 dry days in a row is too much.

Metric Man 07-01-10 09:14 PM

Just finished swapping all the components on my new bike...that was a bigger job than I thought it would be.

My wife is in mourning, anticipating the loss of her use of the living room TV for the next three weeks.

Wait until my wife discovers that I erased all her "Lifetime Movies" that she DVR'd. I had to erase the recorded shows from the unit in the game room, and a several from the box in the family room, in order to tape the entire race and Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.:o

Metric Man 07-02-10 06:41 AM

I'm going to do 38 miles this morning with my local club.

shovelhd 07-02-10 07:29 AM

1st post in this thread. No riding today, it's our anniversary. Going out for lobster tonight. No butter.

BluesDawg 07-02-10 07:42 AM

Go for the butter. Ride it off tomorrow.

cccorlew 07-02-10 07:47 AM

Cycling or tennis today? Wait, I know: both!

I have been as well.
Sort of cool to see them without helmets to be honest.
I am not a huge Lance fan but watching him pull away like he did on Alp d'huez in 2001 was crazy good.
Yeah I agree this should be a good one this year.

Metric Man 07-03-10 12:13 PM

25 miles...30 minute rest...BP 119/71...HR 56...nice.
