Will need a decent ride this weekend.

My sister is coming down today. Don't see her very often as she lives 200 miles away away but she is coming down to Brighton- only a 30 minute drive away.

So the wife has been baking

Ride food..jpg

Hope she gets here quick as I am hungry and there is a 5 hour wait before she arrives. And working round -Cheese straws- Macaroons and Goose berry Pie. Not certain which is my favourite. The grapes are from the greenhouse and we have got to do something with them quickly. They are going overripe so it looks like the press is going to be used this year. 20 lbs or so to put into juice so will have to see what grade of Wine they make.

Then tomorrow- The outlaws (Brother in law and his brood) are coming down- Wonder what the wife will be cooking gor Them?

So it looks as though I will have to Join DnvrFox on his early morning riding tomorrow. It seems as though Night riding- Or very early morning- is the only way I can burn off all that sugar and Carbs.

Wow, does that look good. Guess I'd need a very long ride to deal with the calories! Cheers.

I've always been partial to gooseberry pie! You could overnight a piece as I'm due for a ride.

Yummy!!

Are you cooking the grapes on the stove?

Remind me to visit you (well - your wife - you can go away on a ride, for all I care ) sometime for a "repast."

Or, you could put it all in a box and send it to me. So you won't need a ride and you can spend more time with your family. Postage due would be fine.

Don't eat it!

It's bad for you.

Send it all to me for proper disposal.

Have a good time>

This is one serious woman. Since she was made redundant last year- I have been putting on weight.

And the grapes---Wife likes grape juice so with 20lbs ready- it will cut the supermarket bill. I suggested wine making but she would rather drink the stash he has from outr last trip to France.
