Good question. Perhaps BF should start a Seventy-Five Plus (75+) forum?
I'm south of 60 by a little and am encouraged that my father at 85 still rides some.

Told my family to just drop me off at the golf course next door then pick me up in the evening. Got tired of shooting par and not improving. Quit for 5 years then shot 76 first round. Cycling is so much better. Most likely when i cant ride anymore will be because won't be able to find my way home. Just chip me and off to golf.

I am now on my third re-incarnation.
Did not have bicycles in my previous lives, so this is a new experience for me.
Am only 78 now,so time will tell . . . eventually.
Pedal on!

Cranky - Leave it to Beaver? Man, you ARE an old geezer! Actually, I think from time to time about Hopalong Cassidy, Sky King, and The Cisco Kid. Yup, I'm an old geezer, too. Hey, set out another chair. I'll be over to chat with the kids in the garage. I can tell them about the time I felt my guardian angel grab my handlebars and save me from crashing off into the big rocks. Or the time I met Cathy the crazy woman, on the trail one day.

Don't forget to squirt some Slime into the kid's tube while you're working on his tire.

Kip - Why don't you talk to them and get a 75+ thread going? I'll be there soon enough.

Zona - I assume I'm only on my first incarnation. I need to figure out how to pass my sweet Xizang on to myself for the next incarnation. Which I assume will be the Rapture. I wonder if we can still get chain lube then?

As we already have a 65-85+ thread, wouldn't that be a bit redundant?

Tadpole trike. Get a flag pole that you can pull out and use to get up out of the trike. Ride over to your geezer friends and don't need to pull up a chair.

Somebody used the word "depends" in this thread.

DnvrFox - Thanks, I hadn't noticed this thread when I made the suggestion. I'll check it out in a few years.

Yeah - if the two of you don't wander off and get lost between now and then. You know how old people are with their memories.

My grandfather rode throughout his eighties. San Diego cycling legend Gordy Shields is pushing 92 and still riding!
