Drip, drip,drip....

So the commute home had some pros and cons this morning.

Cons:
*It was 05:00 a.m.
*The wind was out of the SW @ 12-20 mph
*It was POURING RAIN
*The rain was COLD
*I rode straight home

Pros:
*The wind was a Tail Wind
*I was heading home
*The roads were empty

Five Cons and only three Pros. So why did I enjoy the ride? I guess I'm just a tad bit goofy or something. Is there any hope for me or am I just destined to be that crazy old guy with all the bikes?

No hope. It's a terminal condition. Not to worry, you're among fellow sufferers.

Other than the rain and cold- Can't see any Cons in that commute.

5 am and no traffic-
12 to 20mph tailwind
and on the way home rather than going to work.

But the rain I can put up with- I have clothing for that----The cold I can put up with- I have clothing for that

It is just the brain that would stop me riding in the rain and the cold- but breakfast at home might overcome that.

Cranky, I fixed it for you so it wouldn't be so bad. Now it's three to three.

LOL! It was cold, windy, and rainy, but on the plus side, it was a tailwind!

If it makes you feel better, it's 30F and dropping , winds 13 gusting to 26 mph, and I'm leading a club ride this evening.

I thought it was going to be a thread about a problem similar to scottogo's and if it was I was going to recomend him to take saw palmetto and see his doctor.
