I replaced my steel touring frame with a ti cyclocross frame about 5 years ago. Much lighter, responsive and more fun to ride the cyclocross. I use it with 25 mm tires as I used to do 70 mile road rides with it.

Now that I ride in a different area parts of the year, I'm thinking of getting a second set of wheels fitted with wider tires for rides that involve off pavement.

Mines has a rear luggage rack and is suitable for credit card touring as well.
