Fastest speed, on the mountain bike, 57km/h rolling down the York Mills Hill toward Yonge Street West of Bayview in North York, slowest speed, going up the other side toward Avenue road, 5km/h just before I said ah shag it, and got off and walked the bike the rest of the way up. That bike is about 15kg, and on that walk it seemed to gain about 5kg for every 100m along, so it got freaking heavy by the time I got to the top....

Fastest - 56 mph. I was going for 60 down a steep hill but I hit a raised drain cover. I was looking down at the computer at the time so I didn't spot the hazard ahead. I chinned my handlebars and almost bit the end of my tongue off, and I got big air. The bike bounced back into the air when I landed and I almost went under the wheels of an oncoming vehicle. It wasn't my proudest moment on a bike, but it was one of my scariest ...
Slowest - I bonked on the last long hill of a tough local audax (randonneuring) ride and was absolutely grovelling my way to the summit. I looked down at my computer and saw that I was only doing 2.7 mph. Eventually, I remembered that I had set the computer to metric for the event because the route sheet was in kms. I was in fact doing a mere 2.7 kms per hour - 1.7 mph!

Does backwards count? I have one spot where I cross the road and
the path is real steep on the other side. I just coast up it a bit and
then roll back and turn to line up to cross the street the other direction.
I can do it without putting a foot down.
I got pulled over this morning, 57 in a 30. Got a little talking to.

There was a time I could do a track stand albeit for only a few seconds. On the flat the most I remember was 32 mph and with gravity 63 mph in the mountains in an areo tuck. Unless you count the time my feet got stuck in the clipless pedals at a stop light with (of course a nice group watching) then gravity took me down in the blink of an eye. I'm sure I was doing over 63 mph until I hit the pavement.

Did 38.9 last week on one of our not so steep downhills - slowest is stopped, but only for a few seconds before I need to either go or stand.

Quickest I ever did was 44 mph. But that's nothing compared to the speed recorded by Thor Huschov yesterday - 69 mph! Wow, I would be scared out of my gourd going that fast.

Fastest ? 30.4 mph on the flats for a mile and a half with a bit of a tailwind a couple of weeks ago without a lot of effort.
I can usually sustain 28mph on the flats with no wind for about 4 minutes max. It's been a long time since I've tried an all out sustained sprint so I really don't know what my limits are.
Dunno about downhills. Probably 40mph a long long time ago.
Slowest ? I could hold a trackstand for a few seconds at one time but that was a far and distant memory.
