A Site I Stumbled Upon

I'd post this link elsewhere but perhaps only the mature crowd can see the intricate humor in this site. It is humorous isn't it? Not sure if it is crude or elegantly sophisticated??

I was doomed to perdition at an early age, anyway.

So I'm off for a Sunday morning ride.

Mildly amusing, in an unsubtle way. Read as an extended joke, the content makes a good but rather obvious point but, once made, ... meh. YMMV.

You hipocrite! Un-repentant evil sinner, hedonistic cyclist!
Don't you realize the effect this will have on our youth? Leading them into liberal thinking, they will next consider evil drink, tobacco, even marrying outside the faith singing about a bicycle built for two.

The only good thing I can think of about cycling is that women cover their heads in shame for leading Adam into sin and separation from God. Albeit covering their heads with bicycle helmets. One must be thankful for little mercies in this troubling time.

I urge you to return to the true faith. Forsake your lecherous desire to cycle. Become again the soldier of God that you once were. Turn your back on this heresy. Steer clear of schisms. Humble yourself.

If God had wanted us to ride bicycles, he would not have invented flat tires.

Bikes: Cannondale Synapse '06, Mongoose titanium road bike '00--my commuter. Yes, Mongoose once made a decent ti road bike.

I went through the bible and I cannot find any reference to the bicycle. Just to humor myself, I'll search further. What types of bicycles did they have back then?...

I think it's brilliant. And I love this page:

Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." Revelation 13:18 Is the number of the beast really built into the design of every bicycle on the planet? Let's examine the evidence.
Take a close look at this innocent looking tool of iniquity. Notice anything eschatological?

And the link to the 1972 comic book "Danny and the Demoncycle" brings an even greater treat - a morality tale about safe bike riding.
