13 miles tonite. Up to 546 miles towards my goal of 1000 by Nov.1st.
It looks more and more doable, even as the loss of daylight is already getting more noticeable now.
If I get near 700 miles in July, may have to work toward my "stretch goal"!

Up to 679 miles on Aug. 1st.
117 miles in May, 222 miles in June, and about 310 miles in July.
Some of the better mileage each month is better weather and more daylight, but a lot is also just getting stronger with the bike.
Ideally, I'd like to get to 1000 by Labor Day, but vacations may intrude.
it's been fun, and I've had fun on this forum.

I am training a New rider and I had just progressively made the rides a bit harder. He has been going out in the evenings in the week for 10 mile rides on his own- but after a couple of weeks I took him on a 20 miler- Next week 25 with a hill. Next week 30 with a bit of up and down and last week it was 40 miles on the flat with a bit of speed occasionally. Next week I am going to kill him as he will do a 30 miler with a few steep longer climbs.
But last time he was on a bike was 30 years ago. In 6 weeks he has progressed upwards. Only one long ride at the weekends---That has progressively got harder--- and he does the 10 milers twice a week on his own.
So looking at your monthly milage- you are coming on well. Look around for an organised ride in your area and do a milage that will just stretch you a bit. Don't attempt anything that will knock your confidence but look for a 25 to 35 miler to just show yourself what you can do. I reckon you are ready for it.

Made my seasonal goal of 1000 miles from May 1 to Nov.1 on 10-10.
Thought it would be relatively easy in May, then wet weather cut down my outings severely for awhile. But it warmed up,dried up,and the the days got longer in June and July.Slowed down a little bit in August as it got darker sooner. At one point thought I'd make it by Labor Day,but finally crossed the finish line last night.
Now onto my stretch goal.Believe I can still ride weekends 'til Thanksgiving, or until the first salt truck appears!
And you folks on this forum helped with all your encouragement.
Put in about 100 hours of exercise I wouldn't have done any other way.
