personally, I would't put my newer TCR on a suction cup rack. not to mention what would happen to your car if it came loose. also, all those big suction cups can't be good for the paint. what kinda car do you have?

Hi,

I have never heard of this rack or company. Back in the 1980s there was at least one company that tried this concept without success. I heard a few bad stories about the "suction cup" rack. Maybe this company has a much better design. I don't think I'd want to be the tester for them.

No way I'd trust my expensive bike to a suction cup rack. Not really that inexpensive either.

Also it would be exceedingly easy to steal your bike. Pop the vacuum on the mounts and take everything.....rack and bike.

There's a short review of it here:

If you watch the video at the end of the review, at about the 3:30 minute mark they show this.

So you're driving down the freeway at 75 mph, you look in the mirror and see a bike bouncing on the road, right before it gets crushed under the wheels of a Wal-Mart 18 wheeler carring a load of chinese made goods. And you think to your self; "Hey! That bike looks just like mi........ne".

Couldn't get the video to load earlier; looks fairly straight forward. Would like to hear from users. The thoughts of the vacuum cups loosing their seal with a bike attached is a bit unsettling. Lp

Vacuum cups are infinitely better than suction cups though. And that is what they have.
Another thought: Multiple bikes? Do you have to buy more racks?

BBWulff,
They make some multiple bike models. Saw a test on the on-line. Can't remember where or I'd post you a link. My apologies for slipping up there.
