The day has finally come and I will be leaving in the morning for the east coast and stay there with some kin for a while and then on Ecuador. If everything goes as planned I will be back sometime in December. I have been looking forward to this bike tour for months now. It came about by accident, a guy in our bike club was from Ecuador and I was talking about visiting there and the rest is as they say is history.

Phil-Have a good trip! I spent a couple of months in Quito (with some side trips) back in 1979. I really liked it. Take plenty of pics.
