Been gone to long
just in case anyone wants to know why I have been absent here. I was in Ecuador for 37 days and when I got back my wife's health took a turn for the worst. Two hospital stays for her with Christmas at home and then back in. She is now in I.C.U. and fighting a hard battle with COPD. Its a journey we all must take but that doesn't make it any easier. Just saying in case anyone was wondering.

Phil,
I am so sorry to hear about your wife and the battle with COPD she is fighting. That is one really tough condition to deal with and I am sure you are worried and worn out, too. She and you will be in all my prayers, hope that she improves and gets to return home and can be comfortable.

Yes, COPD is an up and down condition -- but it's always tough...
My best to your wife -- and to you too. These things are hard on everybody involved...
And my thoughts are with her for a speedy recovery...

Phil,
I don't know you, but I know that disease and how tough it is to deal with and how grinding it can be to a person and their family. I'm a Respiratory Therapist. I'll keep your wife in my prayers.
Best to you,
Dave

I was hoping your absence was for more pleasant reasons. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife.

My best cycling buddy's wife suffered from COPD. I'm wishing the best for your wife. Be sure and keep yourself rested as much as you can.
