Hello, sorry its on Commercial St in east London. Its by the artist Zabou and is of course of Salvador Dali. It replaces another Dali in exactly the same location done by the same artist, that featured a melting clock that Dali was famous for. Seen here in a photograph I took 3 years ago.

Zabou the artist who did the two Salvador Dali pics above also did this portrait of Becca, a young person who went from being homeless to representing England in the Homeless World Cup. Photographed today in Gaskin Street, Islington, London.

Sunday Saddle Time - 60°, dry on the Puget Sound Eastside; actually the first of the Cascade foothills. With May Valley nestled quietly. Used to be a small farming area to support the Coalfield miners, local loggers and others.

TBT. Second day. Ironside to John Day. Camped on a cattle ranch the night before. Woke up with ice on my tent fly, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. IIRC, it was 88 miles with 5.200+' of climbing. Nearly all of that came in the first 2/3 of the route.

Overall, it was a brutal route that has yet to be repeated. The next day I opted for the 117 mile route. Someone died of a heart attack during the 30 mile hot, uphill slog of the shorter route. The day after that it was a century for everyone in 90+ degree heat. In the end, I think I averaged around 92 miles/day over six days with one rest day.

This is where I was going to post some awesome panorama shots I took with my phone, of my trip up the Confluence Trail and Sam Vadalabene Trail up to Elsah IL and back... except none of the pictures I took, actually "took".

It seems there's an issue with gcam and Android version 10, where the latest Android's battery-optimizing feature interferes with the gcam app. Sigh. My longest mileage to date, and I have no visual record.

I wish we had one of these at every corner. We have adequate bike lanes , but am often forced to ride into traffic lanes by people afraid to ride with traffic. This is the first one I have seen.

Is that area normally that green? The grape vines look like those we saw last November on the sides of hills along the Rhine River.

My goodness! That was quite the week. Great photo!

I’m thinking we might have done a shorter version through the forest and into John Day on Cycle Oregon several years ago. It looks and sounds very familiar. We stayed on a cattle farm for two nights that year. CO paid the rancher to install a well so there would be sufficient water. We did an out and back the first day we camped there as I think the route was interrupted by a cattle drive. Of course there wasn’t any shade but even with temperatures in the 80s it was really hot. I spent 6 hours under an umbrella in the beer garden and was super hydrated afterwards!!!

Round Swamp Road passes through Bethpage State Park. There's a open gateway for golfers to cross from one side to the other and there's a bench at the Tee on the 15th green. There used to be a water fountain but they removed it 2 years ago. It's about 7 miles from my home and i'll take a break before the last push home on a ride.

It's always a beautiful view, but no ... not always that green at all. We had just had some rain the night before, and it was partly cloudy, making the colors look just that much brighter in the sun. OMG ... so beautiful.

We were there this weekend too ... crazy again.
