Been seeing more and more of these along all the MUPs. I think of them as the Motorcycle Gang from Kiddie Garden. Probably HS age.

That amount of water probably damps out the ring. It reminds me of last winter when on a rainy morning I rang my bell when approaching an oncoming group of kids. The bell just went “clunk”. My apology was “my bell drowned”. We all got a laugh out of that. No problem this year, bell ringing loud and clear.

but thread title says whenever... and your pictures inspire me to remember.... what i want to do again in a better 2021. Or maybe I will camp.

Great weekend day riding in the San Gabriel Mountains. It isn't often you can ride at near 8000 feet without snow and with only a windbreaker ... so we took advantage.
