Sheesh, nice frame. I'm guessing everything else has been stripped?

They left the derailleur and chain. Oddly enough the brakes were missing.

Another one from the Eastern Sierra Double. I'll get off my arse and write a trip report soon.

Some years, we get lucky and get a tailwind for the 30+ miles back to Bishop. This was one of those years. That and smooth pavement, the setting sun and lovely lenticular clouds make for a great way to end a long day on the bike.

Snack break spot on the second day of my Vermont tour. Looks like I’ll get a bit wet tomorrow. Got a lean to tonight, so I’m dry.

Cute little baby quails and love this helicopter. Are these completely phased out of service now? To me as a kid/youth this was what a helicopter looked like in my mind but I never see them except at air shows, which are a rare thing in this day.

I had a really nice ride on my Poprad this morning. I had breakfast on beach front bench and took a couple of pics there. Then I rode through James Farm Ecological Center, that is a treat. Took a couple of shots there also.

Upper section of Fresh Pond

Empty main trail James Farm Eco Ctr

Lower section of Fresh Pond

Eco Center resident, black snake. Another biker was there and was afraid to go around the snake. He walked his bike off the trail, maybe 20 feet.

I told the other rider that black snakes are harmless and feed on small animals, although they will bite if you try to handle one.

Thanks. Not sure about the Hueys. Sometimes I see choppers flying around town that could be a Huey. But can't tell for sure.

Went down to Oceanside to see off the RAAM solos and the RAW solos and teams. Great weather, and so much fun!

Evening at Brighton State Park near Island Pond, VT. Some of the thousands of tadpoles I saw at the edge of the beach the next morning.
