Black Mesa from La Mesilla I don't usually ride NM 399 in this direction - too many impatient drivers with dualie pickups live in La Mesilla. But on the Sundays of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, I make an exception when many are either out of town, or relaxing and taking it easy. It's a nice ride. |
Did a 76 mile climbing ride with 4 friends. Been a while since I've been this tired. But it's a good tired.

You must be the better looking of the pair. (The answer is: Of course!)
He is also carrying a ton of stuff. It was 40+ miles between water sources and he had a spare battery in one of his cages so he brought the backpack. It was in the 50s most of the day so water wasn't a problem. |

A beautiful day, actually, and a satisfying ride. |

Seen on today's ride on the grass median between a MUP and adjacent highway. No carcass observed in the vicinity.

You know you’re in the boonies when there isn’t enough traffic to wear the graffiti off the pavement. |
