Thank you. I am glad it was just pure rain water in those tunnels and no dirty sewage or else I wouldn't be riding through there.

Growing up in Oakland, CA, we explored all the creek tunnels and storm drains in our hood. Went up a tunnel like that for a good quarter mile. Someone heard us at the street grate and started asking if we were OK. Broke out in a chorus of Yellow Submarine, lol. That guy must have thought he was going crazy.

Great spot for a picture, very nice. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy riding in winter. The scenery can be beautiful.

More of the Sierra crest. That is Mt. Ritter and Mt. Banner on the left, and in the foreground, the Long Valley Caldera. You can see some steam coming up from Hot Creek.
