OMG. I've driven that road, and was drooling at the notion of riding it the entire way. Is it as awesome as it looks?
The ex and I were going to ride the entire thing back in '09 but the road was not fully open so we rode around the park from St. Mary to Sprague Creek Campground on the west side (about 100 miles) in one day so we could at least ride the west slope the next day. Back in '99, while crossing the country, I did go up and over to St. Mary with all my gear. This year I thought to myself "How did I ever do that?" I was 34 back then. I am 52 now. Maybe that had something to do with it. The obligatory photo at the top. |

I ride by this Italian restaurant every weekday morning ... you'd think I'd have noticed this Cinquecento before now.

^ Nice, Curtis! I'd recognize the "Adventure Cycle" triangle anywhere. How was the tour?

It was wonderful, thanks for asking. We had a wonderful staff and the people we rode with were a great bunch. We had good weather for the most part. Just a delight! What a wonderful place to ride.
