N+1 finally
My last new road bike purchase was in 1976, although I did inherit a slightly used one in the mid 1980s that I have been using since then. This is much more bike than I need, but I am enjoying it. What a change going from downtube shifters to Di2. Kind of sad, though to cut back so much on the miles I was putting on the old one - it probably has 50,000 miles on it, or more. I guess that means I have at least 50,000 miles on me, too

Wow, you really jumped over tons of technology. From 6 speed downtube shifters to di2 - wow.
