When we lived in Teaneck, the summer heat and humidity bothered me something terrible. Now that we have been in SW FL. since '86 I still hate the heat and humidity but have come to terms with it and exercise in them to my advantage. Knowing the body's reaction to the elevations and adjusting effort accordingly yields extremely positive results when things cool off-for real, come around Nov.

I think the humidity messes with my sinuses some. In places like East Texas you become somewhat more acclimated to it but that's where I had real problems with sinusitis there. I've noticed sinusitis flaring up a bit up here in the Pac NW when it's more humid.

Shamrock, if you lived where I do you'd never have any 'ZIP'. We use the term of HHW around here. That's heat, humidity and wind. For my rides this weekend at least the wind gusts were not in the 30-40 mph range like they've been lately. Glad you got a good ride in.
